Final Fantasy Versus XIII Put On Hold? [Square Enix]

The action oriented Final Fantasy XIII spin-off may be coming even later than expected, according to Final Fantasy Versus XIII director Tetsuya Nomura. In an interview with Nomura in the newest issue of Famitsu, by way of fan site Forever Fantasy, he explains that Versus XIII development is "on hold" in order to concentrate on FFXIII. We certainly don't expect to see Final Fantasy XIII until well into 2009, so we suspect that Versus will arrive by, oh let's say, 2013. Thank goodness for that ten-year console life cycle!
