It would be a smart move... I mean, MS already payed 50 million for exclusive content on the 360, and this price cut would almost write a tag "360 is the system GTAIV is made for". But it's not going to happen, I think...

Yeah but MS likes to burn money and they want to be first no matter what so I think it might happen.

As one of those people that buys a new game system the day it comes out regardless of anything, stuff like this just makes me shrug my shoulders. M$ is already leading against Sony with units sold and all that. And I don't think even M$ is crazy enough to think that they can compete with the Wii.

With the scales beginning to tip toward the blu-ray camp in the blu-ray/hd-dvd format, I suppose I can see why M$ would want to keep their system ahead, though.

Honestly, I'm so damned sick of the whole thing. I just want to play GOOD games, but that's a whole other issue... As it stands right now, I'll play games I want to play, regardless of system. And yes, I know it's nice to have that option, so I try not to take it for granted.

Yeah I think it might be a great way to combat Blu-Ray and MGS4. Honestly I'd almost always rather play multi-platform games on a PS3 for the single reason that the 360 makes so much f'ing noise lmao!

I think it will happen. 1) Because it seems everytime I make a big purchase, the item is marked down the next day/week/month.
And 2) I think it would be a smart move for MS. They drew in people with the holiday bundle deal so I can see them doing this.
