But it's free! I mean, it's not really a battlefield, but it's more interesting than those crappy games like GunBound and stuff... we really can't complain that much =p

You can tell by the facial expression on the soldier on the second screen that they're trying to capture the look of the 40's Golden era style. The strong brow ridge with the nose is almost straight off of an Ayn Rand novel. That would be a great direction to take it, if you only took a serious tone with the rest of the animations and models. as it were now, it looks more like Crash Test Dummies meets world war I.

It don't look that bad, the screenshots aren't direct feed, If may be trying the cartoony style but just because it dosen't compare to TF2 dosen't mean its still not good looking.

Personally, I like the approach better than the usual BF2 style, Way too many BF2 style games that look similar.
