I think it's not that far in the graphics department... so they shouldn't be releasing any screens like the second one! And Ken wants to kiss too in the first pic =p
But SFIV screens give me bad memories anyway...

Not being a bug Street Fighter fan, I'm trying to figure out why my husband is so hot for this game... He REALLY wants it. I don't get it. The character designs remind me of watching classic Fist of the North Star anime. Not exactly the nicest looking stuff out there. I wonder if it's just a nostalgia thing for him. He tells me stories of hanging out in arcades with his friends when he was in his 30's, playing Street Fighter for hours. I think it's the only fighting game he ever learned the moves/combos for. Yeah, nostalgia must be it.

They're trying to copy the 3d anime style (first seen in that naruto game).

You have to keep in mind that the game is still in production, and will most likely look better when it's actually released. I for one can't wait, i haven't really played a Street Fighter game in a long time, and i really like this series. I actually completely missed Street Fighter 3: Third strike >_>. Until some time last year i wasn't even aware there was a Street Fighter 3, i thought they were still releasing new versions of street fighter 2.

Now THE big question regarding SF4: Should we buy it when it comes out or wait for the 3rd or 4th revision?

I don't care that much about how it looks as long as they keep the gameplay simliar to third strike.
