So 90 minute cutscenes eh..? Ugh count me out. Who is excited tho?

I'm kinda excited, but as mentionned multiple times before, i suck at MGS games and will most likely watch a friend play through it. Not sure about those 90 minute cutscenes though... Some reviewers said there were a few, some said there weren't any. We'll have to wait and see about that one.
I might still buy it for Metal Gear Online which seemed pretty fun from what i've seen of the beta.

This is another game that I totally suck at, but love watching someone else play. So my son will be playing it and I'll be watching. Poor guy...lol. I try not to do the whole "backseat gamer" thing, but I can't help it.

lol I have many fond memories of my dad backseat gaming me growing up. ;o

Yeah I really want MGO but I can't stand regular MG games.

lol I actually like video games for their storytelling abilities, so I look at gameplay as a way to participate in the storyline, which is accentuated by cutscenes. It's like watching an interactive movie.

Just went through the first act. We're doing our first playthrough on big boss hard, so it took around 7 hours(we took breaks in those 7 hours, so it's a bit less, maybe around 6).
The game is a blast, and i'm actually doing pretty well when the controller is passed on to me.
It's got a pretty big amount of cutscenes, but they're pretty good, so it doesn't really matter.

I think i'll be buying it.
