Greatness coming out on DS today/tomorrow!

Well the DS is getting 2 good releases today.

Final Fantasy Tactics A2: The first was good (other than the story) so i have pretty good expectations for this one.
I played it for a few minutes this morning and it seems basically like the first but with more classes and a few new races. Should be interesting
Megaman Starforce 2: I have loved the Megaman Battle Network series since it came out on the GBA, and the first Starforce on the DS was really good. I'm hoping they correct a few things in this one, but overall it should be pretty cool.

As a Final Fantasy fanatic, I'm ashamed to say that I absolutely HATED FFTA. So although I bought A2 yesterday (since it is a moral imperative that I buy all FF games), I'm not looking forward to playing it. The idea of playing tactics with a bunch of little kiddies just irritated the crap out of me. My husband, on the other hand, liked FFTA, so he started playing A2 as soon as we brought it home. He's really enjoying it. To each his own, I guess.

On a side note, I've been busy working extra and stuff, so I haven't been around much. My husband lost his job a few weeks ago and I'm totally panicking out. ><; Just so you guys know I haven't abandoned this great place.

Played a bit of FFTA2 and it seems like they managed to correct some of the problems in the first. New law system which actually rewards you if you follow it (as well as some other things that make it better like NO MORE PRISON!!! YAY) being the best change i think. Add to that a bunch of new classes and 2 new races. Hopefully they balanced out the races this time and actually made Bangaa useful.
Overall i'm having fun with it and the new law system is a lot better than before.

Now if only the story didn't suck ass. I think(for now at least) it's worse than in the first. No real backstory at the start and the main character(who we know next to nothing about) just gets sent in Ivalice for stupid reasons. Oh well, not like i'm playing this for the story.

Now time to play a bit of Megaman Starforce 2.
