Banjo-Kazooie 3 (AKA how to destroy a great franchise)

There is so much wrong in this video i don't know what to say. They basically destroyed everything that made Banjo-Kazooie what it was back in the day.
It seems like they're just trying to appeal to the mainstream "i like FPS, realistic racing and sport games and nothing else" group of people that seems to be a big chunk of gamers nowaday. Since when does Banjo need vehicules except in DKR? Seriously, that's stupid.

And Rare making a Mario model in there and blowing its head off is completely immature. What, do they think things are going better for them since they were sold to MS? I can't even think of one good game they made since then(Conker on the Xbox doesn't count since it's just a heavily censored version of a N64 game). BK3 was my last hope that the once great Rare might rise up from the ashes and start producing good games again. It seems like i was wrong.

I'll wait to see more for a more "educated" opinion on BK3, but my expectations are incredibly low now. I had high expectations before, thinking that they couldn't possibly screw up the solid formula from the previous games, but they somehow managed it.

I'm confuse as to why you'd call this game banjo-kazooie, when you could have put basically any character in and nothing would have changed. it looks like a lego racing game, and I'm also kinda sad that they're gonna screw with what I loved about the 64 game.

I have to admit that I've never been into Banjo-Kazooie, so I can't really make comparisons. But as far as I can tell, most video games are designed to cater to the mainstream gaming crowd these days. Gamers like you and me constitute the minority. We don't spend the money. Everyone else does. Sad but true.
