As one of those people that buys a new game system the day it comes out regardless of anything, stuff like this just makes me shrug my shoulders. M$ is already leading against Sony with units sold and all that. And I don't think even M$ is crazy enough to think that they can compete with the Wii.
With the scales beginning to tip toward the blu-ray camp in the blu-ray/hd-dvd format, I suppose I can see why M$ would want to keep their system ahead, though.
Honestly, I'm so damned sick of the whole thing. I just want to play GOOD games, but that's a whole other issue...
As it stands right now, I'll play games I want to play, regardless of system. And yes, I know it's nice to have that option, so I try not to take it for granted.
